Emily made her first forage into the competitive world of photography yesterday at the ATPI Winter Confernence held at the University of Texas in Austin. Schools from all around Texas compete in a number of categories. Apparently more than 2500 prints were recieved on Friday. Emily received a 3rd place in Environmental Self Portrait and an honourable Mention in Digital Print/Architecture. Below is the Self protrait with was submitted as a print on Friday. Once she uploads the Digital print from Saturday I will upload that one as well.
This was done using her new Digital camera a canon rebel.
