Had so so weekend

Didn't really do that much over the weekend and yesterday, was definitely not a good 'feeling' day. I woke up with a slight headache and the worst heartburn I have had in good long time (too much wine the night before, 4 whole glasses!). Then I started getting period cramps but fortunately the heart burn started to fade. Then I made lasagne for dinner and the heartburn returned. Then the headache became a huge pain and pressure over my right eye, no surprised then when we started to get warnings of a severe thunderstorm approaching. The cramps continued and then as the rain approached, I began to get pains in my leg bones- right in the core of my bones but fortunately the heartburn had faded by then. Boy, was I glad to go to bed last night Then I read Edy's blog this morning and realised what a lucky life I've had so far.

Yesterday, did have one positive element, despite my increasing aches and pains, I managed to book our flights to France and Scotland in July. In the end I had to get one way flights because although there appeared to be multi destination flight tickets when I went to book them, it would come up with "one of the airlines doesn't have a reciprocal agreement with the other carriers." I really should have waited until another day and been in a better mood but I really needed to make those reservation yesterday or we would have been putting it off and off until it became too expensive.

In the end it took so long, I didn’t get Gordon to look at the Tax return, so that will be the task at hand tonight. Need to do Alan’s as well and show him how its done, so he can do it next year. Actually, that’s like the blind leading the blind. I use to hate doing the UK tax returns but if we didn’t have these computer programs for the US, I would be completely lost. Thank god we aren’t self employed
