and another painting, wow, you can't stop me now, I'm on a roll!
Well this weekend was pretty uneventful to be honest. Alan finally put in his application to Texas State University and he was going to apply to Galveston but he went fishing instead. Last I saw he was looking up ways to fish. Emily was bored all weekend, didn't know what to do but homework was a low priority because it wasn't due until Thursday! Gordon spent the weekend playing sodoku on the PC and sleeping. Biking was out because cedar was at record high levels and even with his new medication, at those levels it doesn't help completely. Me I painted and beaded my doll which is now on the finishing straight. Once I have finished my usual browse of the blogs and expat boards, I will shave the carpet of all the seed beads I have spilt over the weekend. Last night seem to be excessive in that regard.
The only bum note of the weekend, was the news from my eldest daughter that her cat is very poorly and doesn't look like it will survive. He first became ill about 2 weeks ago and it was put down to pancreatitis and was given antibiotics. Apparently it seem to perk up but over the weekend, he lost the use of his back legs. Having looked up the symptoms, it looks like it may be an aortic thromboembolism, which can occur in cats who have been neutered recently. The outlook isn't good but I will keep my fingers crossed. Poor thing isn't even a year old yet.
