New Painting

Well this is what I have been working on for the past few days. Not sure if its finished yet but will give it a rest for a couple of days.

Nothing much is happening at the moment. My sleep is still being disrupted although it not the sniffing and coughing as Gordon finally went to the doctor about his hayfever. Unfortunately, his snoring has only gotten worse. So for the past few nights I have resorted to sleeping in the spare bedroom. Just as well, really as I have discovered how uncomfortable the beds are in that room. Need to change them before my Mum arrives in the summer or she will be like a bear with sore head for the 3 weeks she is here.

Anyway it seems my sleeping in the spare room doesn't bother Gordon's sleep at all. I managed to get downstairs before he left for work this morning and he told me that the first time he realised I wasn't there, was when he sat up to get up. Given that he listens to the radio for about 8 mins before that, that didn't boost my ego at all! Then when I told him I had actually gone to the spare room at 11.45 pm, because his snoring was so bad it woke me up, he admitted he had gotten up at about 12.30 am and never realised I wasn't there!

So this morning I was at my regular Doctor's visit to check on my blood test results and mentioned the fact I am not getting any sleep or hardly any. Transpires that when Gordon visited him last week, he had suggested a sleep clinic but Gordon had poohooed it off as it was that bad!!!. Anyway, now the Doctor is saying he need to attend for my benefit if not his. The story continues...

Apart from the above painting I am also still beading my 2nd doll and I must admit I am quite pleased with it so far. The front is almost done and now I need to design the back. Should be complete by this time next week.
