I have a UTI

and can honestly say that its only the 2nd time in my life that I have had one. I had a UTI last year and I thought it was just my back playing up as I had no other symtoms other than being double over in pain, exactly where I know Ihave a disc problem. So imagine my surprise this morning to I almost double over in pain when I barely peed and then notice it was very bloody. So a quick look up on the internet and as long as I don't develop a fever, drink nothing but water, I should be able to treat myself until I can get to the docs on Monday. Might of even clear up by then with any luck.

Must admit really don't know how this has happened as I constantly drink water like the good WW I am. Sex, what is that then? Apparently once you hit menopause you are more prone to UTI, so I suppose that is it but it sure is a nasty surprise! Not only that I suspect I am retaining fluids (given the amount of fluid to output ratio), as I manged to put 1.2lb on this week at WW. Thats a bit depressing when I know I have been keeping up with my healthy outlook but hey, its only one week, next week will be better.
