I have been strangely tired

the last couple of days. Yesterday and today I have napped for a good 35-45 mins which is unheard of. I have even managed to sleep relatively ok at night, despite not having sleeping pills.

So this morning I was wide awake by 5 am, probably because I was nervous about the visit to the gynaecologist. However, I need not have worried because she was relucant to do surgery for the hernia because she feels constipation might be more of my problem. I don't think I am but hell, I 'm not going to put myself through surgery unless the Doc thinks its really warranted.

So I got the usual sage advice about fibre (how much more can a person eat!) and drink plenty of water - at least 8 small glasses (about 2 litres altogether). Well, to be honest, in the past I haven't drunk as much water as I should but since moving here I can easily drink 2 large glasses of water in an hour - so I reckon I am drinking about 2.5 times that amount of water in a day. However, I do sweat a lot, so a good amount of water is lost during those times. One of her tips was to substitute Gatorade for some of the water. Can't say I am fond of the stuff but Gordon had something similar at the weekend.

Anyway, we will see how things progress over the next few months. Leaning back at a weird angle every time I want to poop, is not great to be honest but its better than the nether regions being rearranged.
