The Graham Norton Show

last night was hilarious. I am so glad that they decided to put his show on BBC America.
Anyway the reason I am writing this post is because of an item he had on it. He was featuring a complete Knitted life size house designed by Textile Artist Alison Murray and knitted by over 300 knitters in the UK. Apparently it is a fun raiser for the Great Ormond Street, Children's hospital. It looked really amazing on the show so I try to find it on the internet. The best place I found for pictures was the Daily Mail newspaper.
Whilst searching I came across one of the contributors' blog called ModelWidow. She is an amazing knitter but I can understand why her daughter didn't want a knitted swim suit, Under teenagers are so ungrateful :). I still have memories of the girls and boys in the early 70's wearing knitted or crochet swim suits and how much they sagged as you came out of the water. Not a pretty sight!
