Maybe I shouldn't write

I am in a grotty mood and I have just sounded off to a kind lady on the line, who although pleasant, wasn't of any use at all. What is the point of a help line if they can only repeat the written text. What is the point of paying an extra $15 for them not to deliver any faster than normal! Why do they insist on Mail order for prescriptions you use everyday anyway!

Maybe I shouldn't have called as I had a miserable weekend, spend Friday morning and most of this morning in the doctor's office, I'm in pain and my son ADD medication has failed to turn up, despite being ordered last week!

Seems I have a uti and now a strained back (on Friday it wasn't apparently but today it is,even though its the same pain). I am fortunate that Doctors over here have a plentiful supply of prescription drugs (samples) so today visit has only cost me $15 co pay and whatever it will cost for a urine analysis. Hopefully the painkillers and muscle relaxtions will kick in soon, then I will do the recommended back exercises.

If there is no improvement by Thursay, it will be x-ray time although they are pretty useless to be honest. Gordon use to have a really bad back and once it got the point that he was laid up every other month, he actually went to the Doctor. (he's really sick if he goes to the Doctor). The doctor suspected a disc problem, prescibed physical therapy and xray. The physical therapy did no good at all and the x-ray showed nothing. MRI showed a lovely bulging disc. A few weeks later, back surgury and he has been back pain free ever since.

I don't think I have that problem, just too fat, not execising enough and a need of a good mattress, so hopefully come Thursday I will be fine and good. Actually the phone just went and it was Gordon checking on me. As I was talking I realised the drugs were kicking in good and fine, whow this is what's like to be high :)
